Meet Yoko Ono, artist and conservationist.
When Yoko was little, she had everything her heart desired, except time with her parents. She was lonely and in order to alleviate her loneliness, she wrote down her wishes on pieces of paper and tied them to the branches of trees at a temple near her home. Yoko experienced famine when the war broke out and had to use her imagination to escape reality. After the war, she went to New York City to meet other wanderers and study art. She worked as an artist and held exhibitions with other pioneers. One day John Lennon came to see her work. And together, they imagined a better world…
